Johnny....Johnny...Johnny.....(sigh)

John McCain was quoted yesterday as saying that he hopes that "Fidal Castro gets the chance to meet Karl Marx very soon." Let's pause for a moment and put this comment into the CDBRM (conservative douche bag reprocessing machine).

beep....blurp...wham....boff....squirt

Ah, here it is. What he was really saying. "I am saying this to rally more of the conservative base to my cause who will mistakenly believe that the only reason why America hates Cuba is because Fidal Castro is a murderer, fornicator, and communist. I, of course, know that the main reason why our government doesn't like Cuba is because Castro, instead of American industry, is pillaging and financially raping his own people. Dang, it'd be great to get a crack at that cheap labor and make all that money that Castro is making instead of us. Fucker....!"

Perhaps ol' Johnny Boy should more worried about this.......

A quick observation. Is it just me or, if given the choice, liberals would enjoy a evening dinner more with Fidel Castro than George Bush? They’d just have more in common and enjoy the company more.

(…hear the story about the Obama campaign office w/ the banners of Che Guevara on the wall?.... Nice.)

Well, considering that baseball is the favorite topic of both men...it would be tough for me to choose :)

Che? You mean the guy that Castro hung out to dry? Whose image Castro perverted for his own gain to consolidate power? I think Obama knows all about Che...

Are you defending Che Guevara? The murderer. The inventor of the Cuban gulag.

I've always believed that despite political differences, people from both sides of the aisle could work together (at times) and at worst, the alternative to a GOP administration would still be better than non-democratic nations; thus there would always be the smallest amount of common ground. Tell me you were saying this in jest or to bolster talk, because if you honestly would prefer a murderous communist dictator, well, what really is left to discuss?

No, I am not defending Che. I just think his image in history is somewhat...glorified to what he actually accomplished...which was basically be a dupe for Castro. A recent American Experience documentary on Castro shows him to be much smaller than he actually was and how Castro hung him out to dry and built him up for his (Castro's) own purposes.

I was making the comment in jest about Bush and Castro, although I do think both of them are cut from the same criminal mold. Honestly, I don't think I could choose. They both disgust me so much it would be hard but if I absolutely had to pick, I would pick Bush for two reasons and those reasons ONLY:

1. I hate planes and could drive much easier to DC
2. Bush and I have the same favorite team...and favorite sport....Cardinals baseball. So, if the dinner conversation was limited exclusively to baseball, that would be acceptable...barely.
