I Rest My Case

If your case is that self-selected Democrats on the Internet think that Trump is racist and self-selected Republicans think he's not, then, yeah, you can rest your case. Otherwise this tells us nothing.

Polls on yougov.com are even more meaningless than polls conducted by professional pollsters who randomly sample people who are so dumb or so desperate for human contact that they're willing to risk giving personal information to potential scammers who invade their privacy and steal their free time.

Even if people do respond in the affirmative to legitimate polls that ask whether Trump is racist, that means nothing about whether they'll vote for him (just ask Paul Ryan). Many people don't care he's racist because they're either racist themselves, are dead-set against voting for any Democrat ever, or want to pack the Supreme Court with toadies who'll give billionaires like Trump and Peter Thiel carte blanche to run roughshod over the press and the American people.
