Well, Maybe Not....

Maybe Larry Craig is not going to resign after all. Arlen Specter, senior Republican Senator form Pensylvania, has offered support for Craig. A spokesman for Larry Craig said that they are trying to get the guilty plea reversed.

Based on the audio tape released last week, it's possible that might happen. I think there is a lesson from all of this.....what it is I'm not quite sure yet :)

Lesson 1: Don't jump to conclusions

Lesson 2: If a law has not been broken as determined in a court of law, nothing wrong has happened (cf see O.J. Simpson, Ted Kennedy, etc)

I have visited bathrooms in most of the airports of the Midwest and in many public places in between (I have a weak gut) and have NEVER been arrested or approached by a police man. Poor Larry Craig...obvious a victim of partisan politics by a cop who doesn't live in Idaho and has no particular reason to harass this guy. Must be a liberal conspiracy.

Yeah, exactly what law did he break? Asking for sex in a public place? I guess we might as well round up everyone in every bar ever in the history of this country.

Larry Craig would be one of those lower down scapegoats...

He can live in schizo fantasy land (join his peers in the club, right?) but honestly, there are bigger fish to fry. If voters don't want him to represent them, he'll find if he doesn't resign.

*whew* Thank goodness...I'm safe for now.
