We've Already Had This Conversation

Many other states already have similar laws and have for years. The purpose isn't to keep blacks away from the lunch counter. Doesn't matter though, there is a narrative to push, and that's more important than facts.

There is only one fact that really matters. With this new law, can a business owner refuse to serve gay people at their business due to religious objection without having the burden of the state compelling then to do so? The answer is YES. This law was passed for this express purpose despite the fact that there have been no incidents of religious persecution in Indiana.

Cornbread, since you are new to this blog, you should understand that I don't allow personal remarks directed towards individuals. Your comment began with one directed towards me. The rest of your comment was fine as you criticized a group (liberals). If you want to reword it and post it my latest piece on Indiana, I think it would fit in quite nicely as a counterpoint.

The problem was that you started off with "Dear Markadelphia." Leave me out of it and make a general comment about liberals. With your second comment, you were having an argument about an argument. Those will also be deleted.
