So, the Gun Cult got themselves the idear that THEY should be the stalwart Murcans to stand watch (and their ground!!) in front of military recruitment centers since Barack Obama and other librals have taken away their right to be idiots. Even though the US Marine Corps asked them to get the fuck out, they are still there.
In a statement Tuesday, the U.S. Marine Corps said, "While we greatly appreciate the support of the American public during this tragedy, we ask that citizens do not stand guard at our recruiting offices. Our continued public trust lies among our trained first responders for the safety of the communities where we live and work."
Not surprisingly, this happened.

The stupid thing about these guys standing around with guns is that they're not going to stop anyone. So they "stand guard" outside a recruiting station. The bad guys will do one of two things:
1) Just shoot the "guard," perhaps with a silencer that the NRA lobbied to make legal in the state, so that no one will even realize the kook with the gun fetish is dead. Then he'll go inside and shoot some more people. Plus, how will these "guards" recognize the bad guy with the gun? Say some guy saunters up with a gun saying that he's here to relieve him. The "guard" leaves and the "relief guard" goes inside and shoots everyone. How can you possibly trust just anyone who says he's there to help? Guys with guns are not the most trustworthy people: they commit 100% of the gunshot murders.
2) Pick a different venue. Like, say, a church. Or a movie theater.
Yeah, another nitwit just shot up a movie theater in Louisiana, killing three and wounding seven. Then he blew his own brains out.
These gun nuts don't get it. You can't stop suicidal nut jobs when you make it so easy for them to get guns. Guns are not armor -- they don't protect you from bad guys with guns. Bad guys shoot first, and they'll easily get a whole clip off before "the good guy with a gun" can even figure out who's shooting.
And the "good guy" with the gun will probably be his first target.
