The best film of 2017 is Wonder Woman (d: Patty Jenkins). This film completely blew me away. Gal Gadot conveyed the perfect balance of the fierceness of an Amazon warrior and the vulnerability of someone new to the world of men.
Period pieces are always important as well and Jenkins did a great job of capturing the WWI era. The action was spectacular, the production design was impeccable, and the story was riveting.
