President Bush Goes on a Rampage

Well, not exactly a rampage but President Bush toured a Caterpillar plant in Peoria, Illinois two days ago and apparently got a little wacky. It seems our esteemed leader had some difficulty maneuvering the heavy machinery and almost took out some of those "liberal" media members.

Sgt. Perkins sent me this link

http://www.talk.newsweek.com/default.asp?item=464251

which details the story in further detail. The reason why I am posting it here is for all you to scroll down after the column and read the comments. They are hilarious. They are not unlike the comments on this blog and I found them to be quite refreshing, particularly the neocon remarks which further illustrate the bubble of unreality in which they currently reside. Enjoy!

Another example of my point proven: Bush is a moron.

The reality you live in is that you couldn't operate that machinery either. Even the people who run that machinery for a living didn't know how to run it when they first started out.

VHeights,

Point proven? Perhaps that is the bubble of unreality that Markadelphia was referring to.

The only thing this proves is that it's a bad idea to put any POTUS behind the wheel of any machine like this, and that if you're too stupid to be about 100 yards from the thing when he starts it up, you deserve to get run over. I think they call that natural selection.

What it proves is that our retarded child emperor shouldn't be allowed out.

Me,

Actually I grew up on a farm near Litchfield so I know perfectly well how to operate a caterpillar...for a girl, that is.

What is utterly stupid about what the Prez did was getting on the thing in the first place when we didn't know how to drive one. Typical of someone who can't admit when they are wrong or when they don't know what they are doing but do it anyway because "it feels right."

This is nothing new.

There were stories in the early 90's about George Bush Sr. being awestruck upon seeing the scanner at the local grocery store he went to.

There was another story from early 2001 that said Clinton had no idea how to use an ATM machine when called upon to do so.

The point is that people like high level politicians and celebrities are so shielded from the realities of every day life in this country it is pathetic.

In defense of President Clinton, I think he was high on pot at the time.

In Nov '05 Hilary Clinton, while standing on occupied Palestinian soil in the village of Gilo, staring pensively up at an illegally built wall, claims the wall is "not against the Palestinian people."

This is a clear illustration of how out of touch with reality the leading Democratic contenders for the White House are. Not to mention stupid. And anti-Muslim. And they can't admit that they don't understand complex situations.

Boy, you guys are on to something here. Making blanket accusations about somebody based on specific incidents is a lot of fun! I'm starting to appreciate the charm of being a liberal.

I don't quite know what you are getting at here, pl, but I have no problem with the wall. Since it has been built the incidents of suicide bombers has been reduced dramatically. This would be an example of a non violent choice that was made on the part of the Israelis. It may cause many people much hardship but what other choice was there?

Of course, now, as I am perusing my morning copy the Times I see that the Palestinians are too busy killing each other to worry about killing Israelis. This is a tremendously sad and awful time for them...I wonder if they are up to the task of fixing it themselves....they are the only ones that can.

I don't quite know what you are getting at here, pl

Hey, we finally agree on something!

This past Friday the democratic national committee welcomed a radical imam - Husham Al-Husainy - to offer the invocation at its winter meeting. Last year Al-Hussainy led demonstrations among residents in Dearborn, MI supporting Hezbollah.

I didn't know the democrats supported Hezbollah.

I've turned over a new leaf too PL. This is easy.

Actually, HMHC, all of the pieces that you needed to conclude that they supported Hezbollah were right in front of you. I think maybe you were just wearing your blinders again. It's really a two-part plan:

1) The Dems block initiatives like the Patriot Act so that their freedom-loving brethren operating here in the US can continue funneling money back home without scrutiny by/interference from the government.

2) The Dems spearhead the initiative to raise the minimum wage so that they don't actually have to write the checks themselves. Instead, the additional money is cleverly laundered through the bank accounts of evil corporations.

It's actually a pretty clever ploy, I must admit.

Wheeeeeeee!

Do both of you really want to go down the path of the leaders in our country who support radical Islam?

We will never win the "War on Terror" as long as we are funding both sides.

Anonymous said...

I don't know how on earth you concluded that I back leaders in our country who support radical Islam. Quite the opposite. I'm saying that, in looking at the facts laid out before us, the only possible conclusion I can draw is that the Dems are in cahoots with terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah. After all, there are far more people on the left struggling to separate the terms "freedom fighter" and "terrorist".

Crab (and PL),

It is fact, not opinion, that all of the members of Bush Co fund radical Islam at the highest level: Saudi Arabia. Before you dick around with the small fish at the DNC, go after the cretins that are truly the cause of the problems we have today aka the people you voted for in 2000 and 2004.

Anonymous said...

I didn't vote for Bush Co in '04.

Backing of the Saudi government concerns me about as much as if the UN threatened to institute "non-sanction" penalties against me.

Anonymous said...

There you go again - the standard you hold us to is "the people you vote for". If I hold you to the same standard, I can conclude that you support Hezbollah.

I want you to stop supporting Hezbollah right away. Why do you support Hezbollah so much?

A simple retort from a simple mind...

Mark Ward said...

PL, yes, I know you voted for Kerry in 2004 but you still support Bush and his strategy, if you can call it that, in the Middle East.

Crab, re-read what I wrote. Big Fish, first. Little fish, second. Big Fish: Osama bin laden, admitted to being responsible for 9-11 attacks. Remember him? I have video of George Bush saying, less than 8 months after 9-11, that bin Laden was not all that important. I know you voted for him.

Little fish: Husham Al-Husainy. How many Americans did he kill when was in Dearborn, MI, which by the way has one of the largest populations of Muslims in America...giving you an indication as to why he spoke there.

I think it is fair to say that given America's big oil ties to psychotic Middle Eastern governments and conservatives blatant lovemaking with big oil that you should clean up your own yard before trying to clean up your neighbor's yard...which in this case is extremly small.

My problem with him speaking there is the same problem I would have if Jerry Falwell spoke there....no religious nutballs, please.

Gang Bang,

It is pretty well known that the Bush family is well connected to many of the Middle Eastern Zealots that fund terrorism. To put a used car salesman and his relationship to the Democrats in the same category is pretty weak, dude.

Ladies and Gentlemen (and you truthgirl), I'm joking and have been since I mentioned Hezbollah. I know sarcasm is hard to convey over a computer. If you don't like the tactic of me linking the DNC to Hezbollah, then maybe you should consider extending the same courtesy to people who don't know how to operate heavy machinery.

In other words - I'm not trying to clean up anybodys backyard and don't really give the concept of cleaning up an entire political party a whole lot of thought.

So now I'm not just a bigoted racist, I'm a simple minded bigoted racist. Thanks for the update...keep throwing the racism charge around, that will validate everything you say.

Anonymous said...

HMHC,
Don't forget "greedy". And "sexist". Oh yeah, and truthgirl called you stupid.

M,
I support one military strategy for Iraq and that qualifies me as a GWB supporter? Tough crowd.

All,
I stand by my Hezbollah statements, until I'm proven wrong, at which time I'll claim that the facts have been spun by the DNC machine. HMHC can backpedal all he wants...typical of a stupid, bigoted, racist, sexist, nazi, greedy pig like him.

Anonymous said...

That's right PL. They say memory is the first thing that goes...Thanks for reminding me of the other insightful and issue oriented posts Truthgirl has made on here.

I'm wondering if liberals are as supportive of a wall along the border of US/Mexico as they are of a wall between Israel/(for lack of a better term)Palestine. The people who advocate the wall along the US border are considered racist in some circles.

Why are you liberals racist against Palestinians? They're just trying to make a better life for themselves.

Don't bother responding, I'm still joking with you all, misrepresenting your positions on issues, making blanket accusations based on a single comment, throwing out charges of racism with no basis in fact whatsoever, and enforcing stereotypes. It's just so easy.

"I'm a simple minded bigoted racist" is the first thing with which we are in agreement.
