Comments that refute points or ideas presented in the posts or by other commenters are just fine. Criticisms about groups of people (liberals are all blah blah blah...conservatives are all blah blah blah) are also acceptable. Criticism about public figures are fine (Barack Obama is a Kenyan Muslim! John Boehner is a corporate shill!) as well. Personal remarks about posters or other commenters that take the form of insults, childish baiting, answering questions with questions or arguments about arguments will not be allowed
In this post, I made a criticism about a group of people (evangelicals) and how hypocritical they are. Worse, they claim to be strict adherents of the Bible yet continually ignore Jesus' command regarding casting the first stone.
So, the key here was that it was a group of people, not a specific poster or commenter on this site. Your comment (which I allowed for purposes of explanation) was a childish taunt directed towards me. It's also a bait for an argument about an argument which, again, I am allowing for purposes of clarification.
You are certainly welcome to challenge my assertions or Nikto's assertions but they should take the form of a reasoned, counter argument backed up with evidence. With this post, for example, you could have written, "I don't agree that evangelicals are hypocritical and here's why." It's not so much about me as it is about the idea.

I'm so happy there's no more childish taunting on this site. It makes everything so much more betterer.
The rules of the site are very clear, Larry. Here they are again.
