Is it your impression that most economists...

According to the Congressional Budge Office, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act "increased the number of full time-equivalent jobs by 2.0 to 5.2 million compared to what those amounts would have been otherwise." Moreover a panel of 55-60 economists assembled by the Wall Street Journal was asked in March 2010 about the effect of the stimulus on growth. Seventy-five percent said that it was a net positive. Only 8 percent of respondents got this correct. Eighty-eight percent thought that most economists estimated it has only saved or created a few jobs

Hmm, so a panel of economists does NOT say that millions of jobs were saved/created - it says "it was a net positive", which means that the only wrong answer was the last one. Yet only 8% of all respondents selected the correct answer which is based on CBO data, not what economists think/say - the one that is in full accord with the Administration and Congressional Dem spin. Hmmm?

Also why would all of those folks, including everyone who doesn't watch FOX get that wrong? Could it be all the talk about unemployment? Are not enough people reading TPM, DU and KAOS to get the right story? Perhaps they even got that impression from the CSM?

Well damn M - that little experiment sure fell flat. Not a shred of support from your chorus - not nothin'!
