A Most Excellent Quote

From the same source as below...

"The fascists of the future will be called the "anti fascists" - - Winston G Churchill

Out of the mouths of babes...!

Paging Jonah Goldberg:)

I'll agree with you that we are living in upsidedown world.

More "critical thinking" and knowledge of history on display from Mark. His first hint should've been "Winston G Churchill". Now Winston G Churchill (whoever he is) may have said that, but there's no evidence that the famous Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill ever said that.

Secondly, I thought Mark was the self-proclaimed crusading anti-fascist here? 10-1 odds he never ever remotely reflected upon how this might apply to him. He never seems to with any of his other utterances. Mark is "reflective" only in that he can see his reflection in the mirror as he lovingly congratulates himself for being such a wonderful, caring and critically thinking example of humanity. Winning!

I made no attempt to alter the quote as it was written. I simply enjoyed the sentiment. But I know I'm stepping on sacred ground when Churchill comes up as he is used (see: 2 by 4) quite often against liberals.

It looks like the original quote came from either Huey Long or Ignazio Silone.

Hee Hee! Mark's wrong about something. We Win!!!!! We Win!!! We Win!!!! We Win!!!!

Actually, Winning! was meant to refer to Mark's image of himself, which really does seem to be as grounded in reality as poor Mr. Sheen's.

Finding Mark to be in error is nothing special. It's just funny when it's so pathetically obvious, and even funnier when Mark doesn't seem to have any conception at all of how much his bogus quote applies to himself.

Particularly since M crusades so loudly and proudly against all us fascistic govt haters (i.e. anarchists)!

You would think anyone bitching about minarchists would not confuse them with anarchists, conservatives or fascists. But not Markadelphia - he can lump them all together as an all-purpose enemy of right-thinking (read as center-left) people.

Truly, you can't find many people like that.

Well, juris, you haven't met my mother-in-law. ;-)
