What a thoughtful commment, Larry, Filled with so many facts and learned scientific method.
FDR was one of our finest presidents whose policies were very successful much to the chagrin of the GOP. People back then knew that they had no answer to our country's problems. I wonder why they think they do today.
Hey, it had every bit as much fact and learned scientific method as Mark's horseshit. And FDR was just setting up and knocking down a rhetorical strawman in a campaign speech.
Bob Hope was a good deal more insightful than Mark ever has been.
The entire thing is his version of A Voice In His Head.
There's nothing new about the Democrats lying about their opponents and putting words in their mouth. You're right Mark, nothing has changed. Such tactics have been used for all of human history, and they've never been valid for all that time.
Of course, economists now say that FDR extended the depression with his "New Deal". So what's wrong with Democrats repeating his policies?

"Oh, I'm a Democrat and I'm okay..."
