Voices in My Head

Ah, the adolescent power fantasy on full display. Isn't Kevin Baker a fan of Allen West? Makes perfect sense.

Jack Abramoff loved to dress like a gangster.

Paul Carlucci, Rupert Murdoch's employee, was said to have forced execs to watch a scene from the Untouchables where Al Capone kills a man with a baseball bat. But Carlucci says it's all a lie: it was really a different movie where Capone discusses loyalty.

Grover Norquist is basically running a protection racket against Republicans, threatening to "primary" them unless they toe his no-tax-cut line.

The Republican party is basically an organized gang. It's not surprising that they think of themselves as one. When you think the ends always justify the means, you don't care how many people you hurt or kill.

OK, Stewart rightly has fun at the expense of "establishment Republicans" [y'know M - the ones you like], but seals the deal by dead-bang nailing Sen. Schumer.

You really think Allen West has seen The Town? I haven't, and I'm probably a bigger fan of movies. But I don't rush out to get my hands on Ben Affleck at the very first chance either. Not after Gigli, no, not at all.
