In fact, I'm waiting for more than apologies. I'd like to see some gratitude towards the president for essentially saving this country from disaster. The reason why these assholes still have the ability to pay for their internet connection is largely due to his leadership. Perhaps that's why they are so pissed off. He's achieved something.

Every single president has achieved something. That's a strangely low bar to clear. Kind of an, "Every child gets a trophy"-low sort of bar. By that standard, why yes, Jimmy Carter the Second has definitely achieved something.
And when you look down in the toilet at what you've done, you can exclaim to yourself, "I've achieved something, too!"
Apparently Mark can't provide any guidance as to what he expects people to apologize for.
