Like an adolescent who desperately needs attention, Donald Trump is now at the point where he will say pretty much anything to keep the media spotlight upon him. His latest statement, repeated over and over again yesterday, posits that Barack Hussein Obama is the founder of ISIL.

Trump's response when confronted by all his lies is, "The crowd loved it! They loved it!"
The man is completely disinterested in the truth, or what's good for the country, or what will make the lives of his supporters better. They only thing he cares about is getting adulation from the crowd.
You saw it in the primaries when his answer to every question was, "But look my poll numbers! They're huge!" You saw it in the debates when his response to every question was, "My debate appearance brought in the highest ratings for any debate ever!"
The Daily Show did a bit that said Trump was just a stand up comic, saying whatever he can to get a laugh. But it's worse than that: he's not funny, he's just an attention whore.
He'll say whatever he thinks will get him the most attention, like some five-year-old who just learned the word "shit," and keeps saying it because of the reaction it gets.
Over time the five-year-old grows up and realizes the attention he's getting is the wrong kind.
But the problem with Trump is that he never grew up.
