Just...wow...

Even I didn't see this one coming.

Amazing.

So, Mark, what is it you're amazed about, exactly?

Do I need to start explaining how the English language operates?

So, Marxy, if someone gives you a social security number, does that prove they're a U.S. citizen?

Is this really more of a story than, say, the liberal global warming argument being exposed as a complete lie?

"Is this really more of a story than, say, the liberal global warming argument being exposed as a complete lie?"

Well, according to Mark, that one was the right's fault.

(And, let's be fair - while the proponents of AGW-based political / economical action are clearly socialist as all hell, it's not strictly a liberal concept.)

Yay, M - focus on America's stupidest politician (from the other party) and ignore how badly your argument tanked in Corporate Abuse. Pay no attention to the state of the AGW case unraveling. Cheerlead for Obama's Afghanistan push (ignoring even the critics on the left - which there are more of than on the right).

Not to mention the death of the threads on healthcare when we actually attempted to discuss the issues rather than chant party slogans.

Way to go big guy; and a round of golf applause to your supporting cast.

What I find amusing about the corporate abuse thread is that the people who supposedly "won" the argument are still talking about it as if they lost. Methinks thou doth protest too much...

So, Donald, are we supposed to glaze over and ignore the lies and bullshit?

You make the pile and I will rub your nose in it like the stupid dog you are.

I don't post her much but I do enjoy the rants. I just wanted to say that this last comment by Anonymous proves where the angry partisanship is coming from folks.

D- we bring up Corporate Abuse because it was a total, epic, fail - and M refuses to admit that. Not even an concession that perhaps he hadn't actually presented the best example he could. Look around the blogosphere - there are lots and lots of bloggers that post "updates" with corrections. Not M. He has stated his belief and no evidence (or lack thereof) is going to change that.

J- you enjoy the rants? Are you into dog-fighting too? If you think "angry partisanship" only comes from one side - why do you enjoy M's rants (which are fueled by anger and blind belief).

Well, Julia, allow me to clarify, because, upon reading my comment, I admit it appears a bit pointlessly angry.

I am not calling anyone here a dog out of hand. But a dog knows shame, and when a dog leaves a steaming pile of shit on the floor, rubbing his nose in it for all but the most idiotic of individuals will discourage it. Eventually, they will be shameful in such an event.

Mark continues to drop piles of shit on the floor. We've continued to rub his nose in it.

No shame.

Clear enough?

Actually, I think it's hard to rub someone's nose in it when you post anonymously. Unless, of course, you have trouble using the comment box. It's given me problems in the past but seems to be working fine now.

I think Mark is more on my area of the spectrum than someone on the extreme left or right. I consider myself Republican but am certain I would be labeled a RINO by many conservatives today. Mark fully supports the state of Israel (I'm Jewish), wants to engage Al Qaeda where they actually are (Afghanistan and Pakistan), thinks that human intelligence is the main way to thwart Al Qaeda (just as Bush elder did-my hero), understands diplomacy the way Reagan did (again, another hero), and is the most un PC person I have ever met.

So to say that he is a partisan lefty is just ludicrous. For the most part, I agree with the iowa kid's posts from awhile back. What happened to my party?

There's that again. It's cute. It's like the short label has something to do with the validity of argument.

So, care to share a full name, phone number, address, or even an e-mail? Because all you've provided is a title which we can't even correlate to another site, much less even this one - I can post with your name, too.

Seriously, your argument that he is not a partisan hack is because he doesn't share certain common or stereotypical liberal characteristics? I think I'd actually have to look pretty damn hard to find someone who met every expectation of a liberal.

Care to list all of those out?

And Mark is a "partisan lefty." My god, he blamed the climate data fraud on the right. He continually posts things which have no more intellectual basis than, "HURR HURR LOOK HOW DUMB THE RIGHT IS." He's continually labelled anyone who disagrees with him "conservative,"...

Y'know what? This is like standing in torrential rain and trying to convince someone that they might be wet.

Just admit it, Marky - you have the hots for Palin. You're obsessed with stories about her. It's OK, she is an attractive woman. I can't help you with the internal self-loathing you're trying to suppress because you're falling for the "enemy", though.
