"You pick you narrative and the news doesn't fit your narrative, change your fucking news!"
No shit.

There is no honest journalism anywhere anymore. If you aren't pulling your news from many outlets (both sides of the fence), you aren't doing your job, and you are woefully uninformed.
pik·er /ˈpaɪkər/ Show Spelled[pahy-ker] Show IPA –noun Informal . 1. a person who does anything in a contemptibly small or cheap way. 2. a stingy, tight-fisted person; tightwad. 3. a person who gambles, speculates, etc., in a small, cautious way.
And then Urbandictionary.com has some more definitions.
Piker 1.) Piker is an Irish gypsy, english trailer trash, and just generally a person not to be trusted, who's past times include stealing, sinning, gambling and living in caravans.
2.) A lazy worker who only worries about his sick time, paid time off, vacations, and any other paid holiday.
John Stewart just pulled this same "creative editing" on Bill O'Reilly. Granted, it wasn't over some critical news, but I view it as completely hypocritical.
John Stewart is a legitimate news source, right? (sarcasm)

What's a piker?
I guess this is the same as "Not all Republicans are racist, but if you're racist you're probably a Republican."

Ah, it must be Urban Dictionary's definition #2 then. I mean, I don't think they're all Irish...
