Pass The Dutchie To The Left Hand Side

As we draw closer to the election year, I thought it would be prudent to take an honest look at the irrevocable harm that liberals have done to this country. I feel that it's important to take stock, as it were, and closely examine who is responsible for the downturn our country has taken and who is not.

Of late, I have been reminded of what exactly is at stake by several friends of mine on the right side of the aisle. Everything from small drips of polite words, here and there, to torrential, raging downpours of fervent ideology have been directed my way in the past few weeks, pointing the finger of blame directly at the left of this country. So, how about all of us here at Notes From The Front tally up the liberals' record thus far? We really need to get a sense of where of our current status. And we really need an honest one.

Bear in mind, I used only the facts, as they are known to conservatives, to produce this assessment so there is no wavering from these points. They are rock solid truth.

In chronological order:

1. September 11th Attacks. Could have been prevented if not for President Clinton's dismantling of the military in the 90s and having his hand on the chicken switch, not taking out bin Laden soon enough. 8 years of soft, liberal rule gave Al Qaeda the opportunity it needed.

2. Anthrax Attacks. The fault of the liberal media. They brought it on themselves for spreading lies. Probably the work of a foreigner, whose multi-culti lies liberals believe on a daily basis.

3. Tora Bora.
bin Laden et al slipped away due to the liberals not supporting the war effort enough, forcing Bush into sending in a proxy force.

4. Iraq. The blame for all problems in Iraq going as badly as it has can be spread out over several groups:
a. Liberal Democrats playing politics with our brave soldiers lives.
b. The liberal media who never gives Bush a chance and over reports all the bad news all the time and never any good news ever.
c. The Hollywood elite, whose anti American hit pieces aid and abet our enemy everyday, costing thousands of lives of our brave soldiers.
d. The people of this country who voted for Al Gore and John Kerry (two traitors who would've sat back and done nothing when were attacked on 9-11) or should I say SHEEPLE of this country who are too blinded by partisanship to see that the real problems here are a, b, and c.

5. War on Terror. Liberals will not do what is necessary to win our struggle. This includes wiretapping to protect our great nation, torture to prevent further attacks, exposing traitors like Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame, and preventing brown people from entering our country. Because of this, we are doomed.

6. Hurricane Katrina. The response to this horrible tragedy was poor because of Governor Blanco and Mayor Nagin. They are the complete bearers of blame and fault. If they had done a better job, they wouldn't have so much blood on their hands.

7. Climate Change is a lie made up by liberals who want to profit from zealotry. By playing into people's fears, a great disservice is done to the backbone of America: our corporations, who exist only to help us and give us comfortable lives. This "threat" is a figment of Al Gore's imagination, a classic re-direct to keep our eyes off the real enemy, who are China, Russia, France, England, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Venezuella, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Indonesia, Palestine, Egypt, Sudan, Somalia, Vietnam, North Korea, Japan, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Spain, Libya, and the Republic of Lesotho.

8. Health Care is in the crapper because the Democrats over regulate the free market, which, if left alone, would sort everything out just fine.

9. The Economy is in dire straits because of the massive amount of spending that the Democratic controlled Congress is pushing for in the new budget. It will destroy our country.

10. Education. Our schools our liberal indoctrination centers whose main purpose is to churn out America haters. Thankfully, No Child Left Behind will fix all of this.

11. Values
are gone in this country because of people like Sally Field, buying their kids liquor, condoms, and hotel rooms on prom night rather than gearing up for battle. Liberals are also responsible for the spread of homosexuality, a behavior problem that can be cured.

Take a look at this list and tell me honestly: can you vote for a liberal now? They have spent the last seven years plotting to destroy this country and have almost been successful. If it weren't for the dutiful, watching eyes of George W. Bush and Richard Bruce Cheney, all would be lost.

I am certain there are more than just these ten items. How about helping me out? This is an organic process, after all, and we really need to get it right.

You know, for the history books.

1. Liberals and their gun control kept pilots and airlines from protecting their passengers. Not because of Bush Sr. closing bases and Clinton doing the same. That belongs in 4 and 5.
2. I don't see how anybody can be blamed when nobody was caught. Liberals were the targets so I'm not sure about "they had it coming".
3. yep. But this goes under 5 as well.
4. The media is way too involved in Iraq, I agree.
5. We agree on immigration. Because of this we are not that much safer even with wiretapping and such.
6. Katrina is much wider than two people. It goes deep. But they were well aware of the threat and failed to protect New Orleans.
7. Yeah, I mean are they serious? Is that a list of countries we don't have bases in yet? Eh, I don't see Pakistan...
8. I like free market. Yes.
9. Economy is in the crapper and will destroy it if the budget is passed. George Soros was on C-Span today and a caller asked "where do you think the dollar is going to be against the euro around a year from now?" Soros laughed hysterically and said, "I know EXACTLY where the dollar is going to be against the Euro, ha ha. But I can't say a thing." They will bankrupt all of us and point fingers.
10. What you do in your home is okay with me. Yes, I'd be pissed if I had a daughter that was drinking and having sex underage. But I would hope to raise my child with the value needed to avoid such a situation.

I won't vote for a democrat. But I feel like some of the GOP have left me behind.

I just added in Education as number 10.

Please tell me this is a joke and you haven't gone off the deep end.

He's joking vheights. Can't you tell when someone is being sarcastic? Also, he said in the third paragraph that he was using facts as they are known to conservatives.

As a teacher, how could you miss all that?

duh

1. Sept. 11: shows that narcissism and saucy intern distractions do really matter.
2. Anthrax: which Minnesota Senator quit out of fear of his life?
3. Tora Bora: like Bora Bora but without the beaches.
4. Iraq: There’s never a bad reason to dispose of murderous dictators
5. War on Terror: 10 out of 10 terrorists agree; anybody but Bush.
6. Hurricane Katrina: all 911 calls should bypass local authorities & go directly to the White House.
7. Climate Change: Even the Weather Channel guy says it’s BS
8. Health care: Universal health care? How ‘bout you get your own dang health care.
9. Education: …thousands of kids who can’t find the US on a map but have lots of condoms.
10. Values: Liberals…trying to import Dutch values into America.

I heard the founder of the Weather Channel last week also. Said global warming is a farce and that all those scientists will lose lots of grant money to study global warming if they admit that there is no global warming. Their articles won't be published and they will be on the "out" as far as their career in weather forecasting goes. He said he can say these things now because he is well into retirement and isn't dependent on any source of money anymore.

As is often said on this blog, it's all about fear and money.

Yes, vheights, I am kidding. I will be explaining this a little further but the jist of what I was getting at was, while I think liberals do spin stuff, it is nowhere near as maniacal as the current crop of conservatives.

When you look at all of their talking points together it just seems ludicrous.

As far as global warming goes, I remain committed to the theory that it is 90 percent probable. Rather than continuing to suffer from confirmation bias, I suggest that some of you do your own research.

What a hilarious list. In looking at their views in summation, they do seem downright silly. Didn't you write something awhile back about collective short man syndrome?

Remember Betsy, those are only Markadelphias views of conservative positions, oversimplified in broad-generalization form. It's just the opposite of justdaves list.

There are 2 sides to every story. Those lists may be the views of some but they are not the views of all.

Sad to say, but this list is pretty accurate. I guess I'm one of those old farts that calls a spade a spade. Us GOPers had a great party at one time but it's all gone now. They have abandoned their core values in favor of looking good.

There are a few good eggs left but for the most part they are crooks and liars...just like all the Democrats.

No doubt, Iowa. If I didn't loathe so many things about the Democrats, I would switch parties. The Republican Party has become everything that the Democrats are too, whiny babies who won't shut up.

rld...you cite the founder of the weather channel???

And his credentials are???

He is currently a weatherman at KUSI....his quote about global warming being a hoax, which sounds much like Tom Cruise's expert opinion around mental illness and psychiatry..."I have thought about it. I know I am correct," Coleman wrote.

You are kidding right? Satire right?

I mentioned the “Weather Guy” because it sounded funnier. (Humor, you can buy it anywhere!!). But by all means, please substitute in any of the scholars below if you’d like to improve the credibility…
• MIT Professor of Meteorology Richard Lindzen
• Professor Bob Carter of the Marine Geophysical Laboratory at James Cook University
• Dr. Tim Ball, University of Winnipeg climatology professor
• Carleton University paleoclimatologist Professor Tim Patterson
• Dr. Boris Winterhalter, former marine researcher at the Geological Survey of Finland and professor in marine geology, University of Helsinki
• Dr. Wibjorn Karlen, Emeritus professor, Dept. of Physical Geography and Quaternary Geology, Stockholm University, Sweden
• Dr. Dick Morgan, former advisor to the World Meteorological Organization and climatology researcher at University of Exeter, U.K.
• Mike Hulme, director of Britain’s Tyndall Center for Climate Change Research
• Kevin Vranes of the University of Colorado

(Unless, of course, you believe a career politician is the best source for scientific information…)

...ah, and a special thank you to the Olympia Snow / Lincoln Chaffee contingent of the Republican party...with GOPers like you guys, who needs Democrats?

So what are the views of the so-called conservatives? Everything hunky-dory in US land? I am really curious about this. I know Markadelphia's views of what conservatives think, how about a dose of good ol'fashioned reality from the other side of the aisle?

Anonymous said...

"So what are the views of the so-called conservatives?"

Typing it up would be a waste of time. Markadelphia, as well as many other here, already have their view. Like anything anyone ever types here makes a dent in anyone elses views that have already been formed in their mind.

Mark Ward said...

SW, I'm not the one that started all of this...the conservatives did. They decided, largely due to the collective short man syndrome they developed during the Clinton years, that they were going to make it their mission in life to make everyone who doesn't think exactly like they do an enemy. And they were going to do so, and still do, in the most insane possible ways.

Sorry, but it's the truth. Read my "Point of Origin" post above for more clarity. Liberals, while they do have many problems, don't have the power, spine, an equivalent of Karl Rove, or fervent idealogy to be as forceful.

"They started it! They started it!" (speaking of acting like a child).

Just because they put you in a monkey suit doesn't mean you have to act like a monkey.

It's not "the truth", it's just your opinion. Quit flattering yourself over there.

Mark Ward said...

Well, they did. I think you need to really take a closer look at this...where the bile is really coming from and when it started.

It's short man's syndrome.

Good, I was going to go off the deep end. Should have known it was satire.....

Well, sometimes it's good to go off the deep end. I do on a daily basis.
