How is that racist?

Bill nails it again. Starts at 1:16.

Barack Obama - Okay... so calling someone a liar when you catch them lying is racism. Or thinking you can't trust what they say because, well, you can't trust what they say... yeah, that's really racist.

Van Jones - ...and calling someone a communist, socialist or truther who calls themselves communist and socialist and signed the 9/11 truth petition is also racism.

Eric Holder - ...suggesting someone who declines an open and shut, already defaulted case against political supporters of his own ethnicity might be tainted by cronyism... wow, that's SO racist.

Michelle Obama - ...suggesting that a radical lawyer once involved in a patient dumping scheme is in fact a radical lawyer once involved in a patient dumping scheme is not only racist, it's downright un-American. Although really, I've barely heard a word about her, and most of the little I hear is not her, it's contempt for the drooling worship, of her or anyone else.

I guess since Hillary Clinton was First Lady to "the first black President", calling her a shyster was racist, too.

Prof Henry Louis Gates - I didn't hear dick about this guy except for the short time the Democrats were claiming it was racist for him to be arrested in the first place. And then I still never really heard much comment on him per se, more about how the liberals in the media were losing their marbles over it. But that doesn't matter anyway, it's racism because Bill Maher says it is.

ACORN - Fraud investigations in over a dozen states. Five different offices where they are on video conspiring to hide illegal activities from the law. But objecting to that is racism. Riiight.
By the way, I didn't know "all the members of ACORN" were black. They aren't an equal opportunity employer?

Ludacris - Haven't heard a thing. Apparently he's not as important as you wish he was.

Al Sharpton & Rev. Wright - You're holding them up as targets of racism?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....

[gasp, gasp]

...hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....

[gasp, snort, giggle]

Okay, I think I'm better now.

Oh and don't forget Charles Rangel, Maxine Waters and Cynthia McKinney.

Bill (and you) seem to ignore the amount of criticism against Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John Murtha, Tim Geithner, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Micheal Moore, Al Gore, Eric Massa, Ann Kirkpatrick, Baron Hill, Pete Stark, Cass Sunstein, etc. etc. etc. Apparently, to subject liberal black politicians to the exact same criticism every other politician in the country gets is racism. Gotcha.

But of course, when the left gleefully labels Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice and Michael Steele "house negroes", that's not racist, oh no.

Please understand, Mark, I'm not questioning your morals or your honesty.

I'm questioning your sanity.

How is it that Maher gets to set the rules anyway? And why do you spend an inordinate amount of time with your tongue between his cheeks, Marky? This blog might as well be a shrine to him, the number of posts you devote to this guy.

Oh wait - was that racist? My bad.

Ed "What the" Heckman said...

Yep. Proof positive that Kevin's latest post really is true.

Grumpy, here are some more that belonged on your list: John Kerry, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Barney Frank, Arlen Specter, Ted Kennedy, Michael Pfleger, and what's his face… oh yeah, Bill Mahrer.

I'm questioning yours, GOF.

And none of you see anything remotely racist at all about the problems you have with Barack Obama, Vann Jones, Eric Holder, Michelle Obama, Professor Gates, everyone at ACORN, Ludicrous, Al Sharpton, and Reverend Wright? I'll add Jesse Jackson, John Legend, and Cornell West to that list.

Yeah, a bunch of white men heaping rage and fear on this group...what was I thinking? Oh, and I'm racist too for saying "white men." Sheesh...

NO- there nothing remotely racist with the problems we have with them. We oppose them based on our principals, and find their ideas wrong and bad. It has nothing to do with their skin color, as we also oppose non-black people with the exact same ideas.

Calling it racist is insane, and is just trying to distract and discredit the opposition.

Do I see anything remotely racist with about ten percent of the mid-to-far left politicians and pundits who are taking heat over their policies and opinions being black?

No, I don't. The fact that you do says a lot about you. You take the job, you take the heat, at any position, and your skin color doesn't absolve you from criticism.

Where were you for the last several years when black conservatives were being called "Uncle Toms", "Oreos" and "House Niggers"?

For that matter, where were your cries of "it must be racism" and "the violence is unacceptable" when Ken Gladney was beaten by SEIU thugs who were there at the behest of the President's senior advisor and told to "punch back twice as hard"?
