Governor dealio-I'm not sure what media you'd like to have cover this. I saw it on the news but I live near Missouri. Where do you live? As Mark has said many times, there are a few left wing loons out there but they aren't a part of nor are they leading the Democratic Party. The right wing versions ARE leading the GOP and the blog you have linked is illustrative of how the old CB radio nutters are now mainstreamed. The violence we have seen in the last two decades is largely from a conservative viewpoint (abortion clinic bombings, anti government attacks, religious conservatives unrest) and all fully supported by a major news outlet (Fox News). For evidence of this, see Bill O'Reilly's discussions of George Tiller followed by the murder of George Tiller, Glenn Beck's assault on the Tides Foundation followed by Byron Williams attempted destruction of it, and David Adkisson's attack on a unitarian church which killed two people. The police found Hannity and O'Reilly books in Adkisson's home. Adkisson specifically state that we wanted to kill liberals and Democrats.
Question for you: was it the Chinese that launched a missile off the coast of California last fall?
So Santa, you are perfectly ok with Van Jones' video where he explains how a country with "social justice" is really just down with plain ol' communism? Since I think Jones is being groomed for political office, I think it's good to stay on top of what he says. Keep it current, ya know?
Your explanation on FFP's looniness makes more sense than the things I imagined the powers that be were whispering in her ear. I had fashioned someone telling her to shut up, that she'd said too much already.
I do think the governor's assassination attempt should have made national news, beyond Missouri. But I guess since the leftist was a knife wielding/Che Guevera worshiping nut case, he didn't quite fit the narrative of the liberal media. But why wouldn't FOX run with this 6 weeks before the election?
