I've the video below a couple of times now and I still can't get enough of it. In so many ways, this sums up the Right and how completely hypocritical they are. I think it's the Obamaphobia!

Sen. Inhofe's Team Red tribalism is no more shocking than Team Blue tribalism. And if Americans elect a Republican in 2016, it won't be a shock to see Inhofe resume defending the excesses of the surveillance state, and Democrats resume caring about civil liberties.
I didn't have a problem with the program under Bush when he went through the appropriate oversight (Congress, the courts). It was the warrant-less wiretaps that were the problem for me.
It's not a question of a "team," for me. There have been plenty of competent Republicans (Eisenhower, Reagan, HW Bush) and incompetent Democrats (Johnson was the biggest, if not our worst president). I can't help the fact that the Right hasn't cleaned out their clown car in the last two decades.

It's not OK if there isn't any oversight. There wasn't any initially under Bush. Then there was and it was fine at that point.
