Unless they're talking absolute numbers (which are worse than worthless when comparing countries with populations of greatly different sizes), the rape numbers are horseshit as anyone with a lick of sense could tell you. Rape rates are much higher in quite few countries, including Sweden. Others are very suspiciously low. There's a trap for the stupid here. Same applies to "Total Crime".
China passed the US in CO2 emissions a few years ago and is well ahead of us now (23.5% vs 18.7%).
"Divorce rate" is even more moronic. Not only is the US not #1 (Belarus and Russia are higher), but Puerto Rico is part of the US.
