Maybe Old-Fashioned Government Bureaucrats Aren't So Bad After All...

From the South China Morning Post:

Snowden sought Booz Allen job to gather evidence on NSA surveillance

Fugitive whistle-blower reveals for first time he took job at US government contractor with the sole aim of collecting proof of spying activities

Boy, those new-fangled private security contractors like Booz Allen sure do a bang-up job on protecting American secrets. So much better than those fuddy-duddy government employees who stay on the job for life, in order to make sure they keep their government pensions. Which happen to be much less than what Booz Allen pays Snowden and their ilk...

The irony that the evil contractor Snowden wanted to shed light on the illicit actions of the U.S. govt while the noble govt employee Ames was out to both subvert the actual security of the country and make money for himself.

Every post you are more loathsome Nikto - that is some kind of accomplishment.

I guess you won't like the on he just put up about the total unraveling of the IRS (not) scandal.

I see, it is no longer a scandal because the partisan angle is somewhat downplayed.

Well done. You don't care who the govt fucks.

I don't think they "fucked" anyone. They were trying to cut corners and were put in that situation by us. We are the ones that have decided to let Citizen's stand as law.

Cut corners by singling out their "enemies", you mean? I can't even begin to imagine the caterwauling from you two clowns if Progressive/Liberal were singled out under a Republican administration.
