In other words, ignoring everything the govt is already doing to improve the condition of those at the bottom end of the income scale (and ignoring the effects of progressive income taxation).

And yet, despite years of Mark harping about the pitfalls and perils of income inequality - we aren't even the worst? And those who are aren't in a boiling pit of sewage because of it?

Not really getting the nuance, are you, GD? Check out the countries that have less inequality than we do. No problem with that?

Why? You've still not shown what boiling pit of sewage occurs because of income inequality.
