What? You don't think MSNBC knows what its audience wants?

TV news needs to stop telling people what they want to hear and tell us what we need to hear.

Do you watch Fox news?

Mark Ward said...

Maybe once a week for less than a minute just to laugh at the lying.

..just to laugh at the lying

That is why we come here!

Actually, 6Kings, I think it's because you don't like the truth and are terribly worried that it might deprogram your cult. Please feel free to point to any of my "lies" and counter with the "truth" at any given time.

That doesn't even make sense.

Scare quotes about both truth and lies - yeah, that about sums you up.

So what you are saying is that you watch what you want, while you say TV should tell 'us' (that doesn't include you) what 'you' think 'we' should hear....

TV news is primarily entertainment. They don't actually tell people things that they need to hear about what goes on in the world...how globalization is really going to affect their lives, for example.

TV news is hardly the only or even the most important medium - except of course for people too lazy to learn in any more depth than a 30 second to 2 minute 'report'.

MSNBC knows its audience. You do not.
