Liberal Fascist Thought of The Day

I find it interesting that the evangelical/family values crowd is referred to, both within and without of the Republican Party, as "The Base."

Anyone know what the Arabic translation of "The Base" is?

Al Qaeda.

Frankly there are times when I see little difference between Al Qaeda and our own religious extremists. Both want everyone to believe exactly as they believe. If not, you are doomed to a pit of hell. Both view the other as a "false" religion and believe that it must be liquidated. Both twist their religion to condone violence. Both are intolerant of certain groups (homosexuals, other religions and lifestyles) and want to take away their rights.

bin Laden and people like Pat Robertson are the same person with people that actually think caught up in their violence fetish.

And of course the Democratic Party NEVER talks about "The Base".

Sheesh.
