Simply Beautiful

They had SEVEN YEARS to get Afghanistan right, and now they accuse Obama of "dithering."

Remember, they can make believe anything they want:)

You have the gal to accuse people of make believe when you all failed to give any other examples in the Corporate Abuse discussion?

Didn't someone here accuse the Bush administration of planting pornography on liberals' computers too? Whatever became of that?

Oh, and getting back to health care, here is what the CSM had to say about the Senate bill.

Enjoy, and if it isn't too much of a strain, discuss. That means you too, dan.

Well, juris, unlike many who respond here, if I have nothing worthwhile to add, I keep quiet.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Climategate

Well HouseHusband, looks like you owe me a couple of apologies and a virtual beer.

Kentucky census worker wasn't killed by crazed conservatives, the entire climate change scam is imploding, AND Gitmo won't be closed by Christmas.

Hot damn I love it when I'm right.
Scraps.

who the heck is househusband and who said the census worker was killed by conservatives?

Househusband was my moniker on a blog that I was kicked off of for calling to attention the vote on the Jamie Leigh Jones vote.

Good to hear from you, Scrap. Hope you stick around. I poke my head in occasionally to see if there is my political talk going on in our old haunt. Looks like all the poli-debate effectively killed it....ah, well.

I am "relieved", actually, that the census worker was not killed by right wingnuts...sad for his family though. The last thing this country needs is yet another problem regarding domestic violence. Climate change "Scam?" While I don't fully accept the theory (more data and research needs to be collected) to call it a scam is terribly short sighted, Scrap. Do your homework. Start with the IPCC report. And then look into what China is up to regarding Green Tech. It would be economically stupid for us not to get into that market. On a similar note, Gitmo wasn't scheduled to close until Jan, 2010 although I think they will miss that deadline. So what, though? What is it about the base that when something doesn't go exactly as planned, a mistake is made, or there is an error in judgment that it means that person is WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING FOR EVER AND EVER AMEN!!!

BTW, this thread is about the "Dithering" in Afghanistan.

"who said the census worker was killed by conservatives?"

Markadelphia did, in his blog post of Sept 2nd titled Body count = 2.

Well, Kevin, I have to say I'm happy to be wrong:)

Dude, you asked me specifically for something. I guess since you didn't reply you had no disagreement with what I said. I just wasn't expecting that.

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving as well.

"I think we can all see where this is going."

"A recent column by Michael Smerconish makes it pretty clear what we are in store for...."

"the more the base will scream that they were justified in murder."

Those are things you said in that post from September markadelphia. What kind of a person dances on a corpse and uses a persons death to score political points like you did? Then when proven wrong, just say that you are happy to be wrong and then simply move on from such slanderous statements. I'm guessing you will not offer up an apology of any kind.

rld what kind of person indeed!

Perhaps the kind who professes to be a Christian but has perhaps the worst case of envy I've ever encountered.

Perhaps the kind who admits error about trivial bits, but never concedes that his overall point was wrong. [I wouldn't at all be surprised for M to say that, well THIS wasn't a killing like he's had in mind, but there WILL be others. Certainly that whole thread on Corporate Abuse is M's modus carved in marble.]

It seems to me there is a word that describes this... hmmm, a word like hypocrisy perhaps.

Props for owning it, Marky. Credit where it's due.
