Friday Funnies

Meanwhile, tax protesters (52 percent of which think their taxes are fair) descended on Washington DC yesterday to yell and be angry about their taxes....which are at the lowest they have been in years.

Ah, the Cult...

Meanwhile, Mark is unable to comprehend that high spending in the present very plausibly leads to higher taxes in the future. Comprehension is not Mark's strong point.

Obama is no more of a socialist, than Bush was a Nazi, right?

Oh, wait, we heard for EIGHT LONG YEARS from the left all about Chimpy Bushitler, didn't we?

Pot meet kettle.

Juris,

I've had some time to think about the whole Bush is Hitler thing and I think I've figured out the reasoning. Expect a post soon...

Ah, the Cult...

Seems as though you would know better than most.

That is a very strange assembly of words.

Expect a post soon...

Anymore, I shudder when you say that, because it means I've inspired you to another round of insipidity.

Insipidity used in a sentence! How sweet to be here to see it. You sir, make me jealous.

Juris makes everyone jealous.

Linoge,

Polls are a strange thing, aren't they? The poll of which I spoke was of the Tea Party only, not the general public. So what does that tell you?

Rasmussen-one of my hard right friends swore by Rasmussen and said that Gallup was in the tank for liberals...that is, until, Rasmussen recently published a poll which showed that Obama's approval rating had gone up to 50 percent. Now she hates them:)

It amused me to cherry pick 'facts' from this poll. The self-identified tea party members are significantly more educated and more well informed than non-TP's. They despise the Democratic party, but aren't all that keen on Republicans either.

If the stats from questions 9 & 11 hold up until November, there may be a huge congressional purge in the works. I'm all for it.

But questions 78 & 79 amused me the most. The majority of self-identified TP's had not heard 'a lot' about the movement, and only 85% of them had a favorable view of their own group. Kinda makes you question if people even bother reading all the questions.

My bad. That comment ^ should have been regarding the NYT poll post below. Not this scintillating cartoon, nor the Daily Show clip.

Dammit M, how am I supposed to be mean to you when you go and compliment me.

It's easy Juris...just say Lleyton Hewitt is the best tennis player ever.

Be as mean to me as you want, juris. I don't take anything anyone says on here personally.

Besides, the comment you made regarding my blog being more interesting than Kevin's blog a while back will be enough good cheer to last forever.

I've actually been in a great mood these last few days. My readership on here has gone up. Right when I signed on to make this comment, I saw that 25 people were reading my blog. I wonder what they were looking at?
