Big Babies

To give you an idea just how childish the Right are these days, take a look at these numbers.

Gallup

And these numbers...

Washington Post

And now, take a look at this...

Washington Post 2

So, they support all the policies that President Obama has presented but if his name is attached to it, then they hate them. Yep, that's just about right.

And they wonder why the American people voted to keep the adults in charge...

Argumentum ad populum

In logic, an argumentum ad populum (Latin for "appeal to the people") is a fallacious argument that concludes a proposition to be true because many or most people believe it. In other words, the basic idea of the argument is: "If many believe so, it is so."

It is logically fallacious because the mere fact that a belief is widely-held is not necessarily a guarantee that the belief is correct; if the belief of any individual can be wrong, then the belief held by multiple persons can also be wrong.

Fallacy: unsound, erroneous, misleading, deceptive, FALSE.

What this talks to is the ignorance of the Democrats and Independents. Serious ignorance on the 2nd amendment, gun control issues, and everything else. A good example...armor piercing bullets?! There isn't any recorded crime with them yet it hits an emotional heart string. Same for assault weapons. The actual numbers or FACTS don't point to these as being problems registering on ANY SCALE yet here these questions are. It also points to a complete lack of effort by Democrats to understand the problem. All they want is talking points that resonate emotionally. Facts don't bear out anything proposed. Good job M, you rank as chief ignoramus and perpetuate that ignorance with every post.

Markadelphia, didn't you post a picture on here recently that said "Small minds talk about other people"? Yet all you do is talk about The Right and how stupid they are. Nikto also.

Yes, America voted to keep the same people in charge, including the Repubs in Congress.

You remember the House, right M - the People's chamber?

You sure didn't think the country should just accept everything Bush wanted done - did you?

including the Repubs in Congress.

Actually, they didn't. Democrats got 1 million more votes in the House than Republicans. That's why the GOP is setting up the districts the way they are...so they can stay in power...which is the only way they can win anymore given their dwindling numbers.

Yet all you do is talk about The Right

The quote of which you speak was in reference to personal attacks on individuals, not groups or political ideology. But I think it's appropriate that you brought it up. They agree with the ideas presented by the president but are so small minded that once he, as an individual presents it, it's bad.

You know, NMN, every time you bring up logic, it's a strong indicator to me that you're pissed off that I'm right:)

you rank as chief ignoramus and perpetuate

I guess I'm in good company with the Republicans as well...45 percent want assault weapons banned...59 percent on the higher ammo clips...40 percent on semi auto hand guns...wow, what happened? Oh, right, it as _______'s fault.

Actually, they didn't.

The Repubs have the most seats, and that is all that matters. Doesn't matter if Dems got 5x the votes - we don't have proportional representation. You want that - move to Europe. It's worked great in places like Italy.

that I'm right:)

I get pissed off at you for acting like a very spoiled and stupid child.

Just watch - you won't even get an AW ban out of the Senate. Must be because of the Repubs, right?
