False equivalency. I thought those were only supposed to come from the right?

Here's why it's a false equivalency:

Are foodstamps a Right which is inherent in what we are as human beings?

Is life (i.e., not being killed unjustly) a Right which is inherent in what we are as human beings? Given that, do we then have a Right (inherent to being human) to defend our lives? Given that, do we have a Right (inherent to being human) to have the tools necessary to defend our life in any situation where our lives would be threatened?
