Yet Another Shooting

Well, we have had yet another school shooting. The president's words say it best...

"Our levels of gun violence are off the charts. There's no advanced, developed country on Earth that would put up with this," President Barack Obama said in Washington in response to a question about gun violence.

He said the nation should be ashamed of its inability to get tougher gun restrictions through Congress in the aftermath of mass shootings that he said have become commonplace in America. Most members of Congress are "terrified" of the National Rifle Association, the President said, adding that nothing will change until public opinion demands it.

"The country has to do some soul searching about this. This is becoming the norm, and we take it for granted, in ways that as a parent are terrifying to me," Obama said.

Yet we are putting up with it. Why?

Because the hysterical old ladies also known as the Gun Cult won't grow the fuck up.

What makes you think "tougher gun restrictions" are going to do anything positive about these incidents?

Yet another ignorant rant from M! Are you not tired of being an idiot over and over yet? We have asked for your ideas and they have been shown to lack any substance in addressing this. So, got a new one or just blathering on about nothing but fantasies.

You don't even know what the details are - so you can't know what could have stopped or prevented it. Yet you are still howling about having to do 'something'.

Oh and speaking of.....

Haven't you always maintained that Obama doesn't want to take guns?

In other words, the president of the United States just praised a government for forcefully removing all semi-automatic firearms (i.e. a remarkable number of the guns in America and the majority of those sold today) from its citizenry.

I guess there aren't really any "tougher gun restrictions" that M or his talking-point-providers have come up with.

Same as it ever was. And who's fault is that?
