Um...Mr. President?

Being bipartisan cannot mean that Democrats give up everything they believe in, find the handful of things that Republicans have been advocating for, and we do those things, and then we have bipartisanship. That’s not how it works, you know, in any other realm of life.

---President Barack Obama, Feb 9, 2010, commenting on his meeting with Republican leaders regarding bipartisanship.

Ah, but Mr. President, that is how it works in their "realm of life."

Obama Says Bipartisanship, But What He Wants Is GOP Surrender

Yeah, because that's been his modus operandi all along. His thirst for conquest was quite evident in the health care plans of the both the senate and the house. Boy, those liberals sure do know how to assert their will and take control.

Pay attention, folks. As Mark always says, when someone on the right makes a critique of the left, they are usually describing themselves.

Funny but M's critiques of the right are usually very self referential. I really like his furious sputtering about how rage-filled they are (same goes for you dickie boy).

Anyway, I always like to reflect on the gun control "compromises" that were offered by gun control freaks - usually along the lines of "but we won't take all of your guns [right now] - isn't that a fair compromise"?

Or there is the DEA, that won't allow any research on medical marijuana then always talks about how marijuana doesn't have any legitimate medical uses. [That one is very bipartisan too!]

And somehow, despite certainly not being rich, I've never been helped by one of those Democratic tax cuts for the middle class.

Until the Dems agree to decouple health insurance from employment, I'm not in any mood to consider what they have to offer.

So you noticed then, that he COMPLETELY IGNORED the Republicans in the house and senate re the healthcare debate...
Until the dems got their collective ass handed to them in "Massachusettes"...

Not true, Kevin. Snowe and Collins were all included in the committee debates.

dick, bi-partisan isn't peeling off a couple of votes from your cousins in the opposition party. It is supposed to mean a broad-based consensus. The War on Drugs is a good example.

Wow. TWO RINOs = bipartisanship. Thanks for clearing that up, dick.

I wonder how Collins and Snowe would do on the Republican purity test?
