It doesn't really matter what's on it. Mark's "voices in his head" problem is not that there are a few conservatives who believe things that he thinks all conservatives believe. It's that when he's debating a conservative, he's not listening to or debating the person "right in front of him", but arguing against someone else's argument.
That he is totally incapable of recognizing the difference between the person he is communicating with and someone else is thoroughly … disturbing.
