Either Way

Most of my regular readers know that I have been friends with the all too rare author on here, John Waxey. Many also know that Mr. Waxey is the owner of a manufacturing firm in Wisconsin that does between 20 and 30 million dollars a year in business. In a discussion regarding Tuesday's election, John said

"Well, either way I win so..."

When I questioned his perceived gusto for Mitt Romney, he chuckled.

"Obviously, I'd rather have the president win because that's better for everyone. But if Mitt happens to win, all of his policies will help rich people like me so my life is going to be better."

Yep.

Funny how John can't say that here himself, since he's a co-blogger and all.

And look who else isn't Fox News talking about Benghazi.

The White House says Republicans are "politicizing" a tragedy. Politicians politicize, yes, but part of their job is to hold other politicians accountable. The Administration has made that difficult by offering evasive, inconsistent and conflicting accounts about one of the most serious American overseas defeats in recent years. Unresolved questions about Benghazi loom over this election because the White House has failed to resolve them.

Is that statement at all controversial in your mind M? It must be because it didn't blame Republicans enough.

The President may succeed in stonewalling Congress and the media past Election Day. But the issue will return, perhaps with a vengeance, in an Obama second term. The episode reflects directly on his competence and honesty as Commander in Chief. If his Administration is found to have dissembled, careers will be ended and his Presidency will be severely damaged—all the more so because he refused to deal candidly with the issue before the election.

Yeah, just nothing but mindless racial hatred directed at your hero, huh M - is that the story you are going to stick to?

My issue with any discussion abuot Benghazi now is that it's impossible to have a rational discussion about it with anyone on the Right. If that changes, I have no problem being critical of the president or the State Dept. But for now it's simply a witch hunt fueled by sour grapes that the president has done a good job with foreign policy. He's been tougher and more effective than Bush and that just sticks in their craw.

Of course, an exception this would be you, juris, because I know you didn't approve of Bush's policies and think that Obama sucks for a different reason which I do respect.

What was not rational about the link I gave? Your response was not rational - we can't talk about it now. That is what isn't rational - because the small amount of rational thought you are capable of knows this is not good for your Hero.

Sometimes I think you must realize what a pathetic partisan lapdog you really are - but you just can't help being true to yourself.

I'm happy to talk about Benghazi if we go into to it in an unbiased way. Starting with the Wall Street Journal and language like this...

one of the most serious American overseas defeats in recent years.

and this

The Administration has made that difficult by offering evasive, inconsistent and conflicting accounts

and this

all the more so because he refused to deal candidly with the issue before the election.

isn't the way to go. Find a source that is not the administration and not part of the Right (aka the Benghazi Mental Meltdown Brigade) and we can talk.

Fuck you you coward. You know this is bad for Obama and you won't be honest about it.

I've given you five different sources - not one from Fox and you still have the chutzpah to assume I am taking a hate-Obama slant.

Just go fuck yourself.

If Obama loses you better hope that Romney is as generous toward Obama as Obama was to Bush/Cheney.

Think about that all of you fucking leftist shitheads.
