What Kind of A Culture?

What kind of a culture produces a person who had all of this weaponry? Ours, I guess. Why? More importantly, if we are a Christian nation, how does any of this fit in with a philosophy grounded in peace?

That is an arsenal? That is "too many" bullets?

I've never met anyone with terminal incontinence.

What was the nature of the threat that the Lanzas faced in suburban Connecticut? I suppose I could understand having that cache if he was in a heavy crime area or in a drug cartel. But he wasn't. It was all about appeal to probability and appeal to fear, wasn't it?

Who said it was all about threat? What are you so afraid of? "Cache", "arsenal" - give me a break. I'm sure you would flat out faint if I opened up my gun safe in your presence.

You really have to have no control of your bladder whatsoever to be pissing yourself about those guns and all of that ammo.

Holy crap Mark, I've shot that much ammo in one weekend at the range - you freaking out about this says more about your fear than 'mine'.

"All this weaponry"? Let's see. One .22 LR bolt-action rifle, one .223 semi-auto carbine, one WWII-era bolt-action British .303 rifle with a bayonet , a Saiga 12-gauge shotgun, a 9mm pistol, and a 10mm pistol. A sword (cheap replica, no doubt), a spear, and some knives, a starter's (cap) gun(!), and a BB gun(!).

And this is what all the Pants-Shitting Hysteria (tm) is about? You've got to be fucking kidding me. That's just a very basic and almost minimal collection of one gun per basic usage except for the 9mm and 10mm pistols. Not even a .22 pistol in the bunch. Nor is that a large amount of ammo, except in the minds of ignorant hoplophobes.
