Good Words

From a discussion on Quora about racism...

Lack of forthright censure is the equivalent of tacit approval.

And that would be why the people that howl about race baiting being a more prevalent problem than racism in this country end up being accused of being racist.

Because they ARE.

Ok, let's go through this reeeeal slow.

Saying there are false accusations of racism IS NOT saying there are no accusations of racism.

Saying that false accusations of racism are more prevalent than racism IS NOT saying there is no racism.

Saying either of these things IS NOT failing to censure or tacitly approving ACTUAL racism.



Let me put it this way, if I claimed you were a child molester, would your lack of censure of the act and even you denial of it somehow prove that you indeed do it?

That's what you are doing here. Somehow claiming that when someone denies something happens (as much as you claim it does) then that somehow 'proves' that they are actually guilty of the act themselves.....
