It tells me that here as elsewhere, Democrats talk a good game, but are skinflint cheapskates when it comes to tipping because they fear that they might be over-tipping because there's no law mandating good tips for good service (be it waitressing or shakin' them thangs), and those awful Republican are probably under-tipping, too, because all good Democrats know in their hearts what awful people those Republicans are. And what does this prove? It proves that Obama must mandate a Federal law forcing those Republican fatcats to cough up the right amount, and then those poor Democrats can finally pay their fair share without fear of someone else not doing so. It will stimulate employment, as well, because new federal officers will be needed to investigate and no doubt work undercover. We already know what department would get the additional bureau. Now the BATFE can become the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Titties, Firearms, and Explosives. Everything a man needs for a long weekend in Vegas.
Democrats know the right thing to do, but they won't generally do it until everybody is forced to do it for fear someone else may be screwing them somehow, someway. Republicans don't need a law to know and to do the right thing.
